Last week, Congressman Randy Hultgren (R-IL-14) made his third visit to Parksite’s corporate headquarters in Batavia, Illinois, spending about an hour visiting with more than 30 of the company’s employee-owners. He was also given a tour of the facility by Parksite CEO and ESCA Leadership and Developmental Council Chair George Pattee.
Parksite is a sales, marketing and distribution company serving a wide variety of segments of the building industry – with a focus on both interior and exterior products. The company established its ESOP in 1990 and is 100 percent employee-owned. Parksite says it is its “focus on the common good – the people who work here and the customers we serve – that ultimately drives our success.” And today, it boasts a workforce of over 300 employee-owners in locations across nine states.
The Congressman said he was eager to hear from Parksite’s employee-owners about the unique experience that comes with working for an employee-owned company and about the company’s growth over the past year. The special visit ended with closing remarks and a Q&A session between employee-owners and Congressman Hultgren.
ESCA thanks Parksite for hosting Congressman Hultgren at their headquarters for a visit.
