Lubbock Expansion Credited to Growth Through Employee Ownership, Company Says
(Lubbock, Texas) Vermeer Texas-Louisiana, a full-service equipment dealer specializing in environmental and construction equipment, celebrated the grand opening of their newly relocated Lubbock facility on Friday, April 27th. Company leaders noted that the business’ growth, marked by the opening of the new structure, was a testament to the hard work and success of the firm’s employee ownership model. Vermeer Texas-Louisiana is 100 percent owned by its employees.
The company’s new location, built on approximately ten acres on the southwest side of Lubbock off Slaton Highway, provides greater highway visibility and proximity to many other construction equipment suppliers. The new building boasts six full-sized service bays, a larger parts warehouse, state of the art showroom and training classroom. With the additional space, Vermeer will also be able to stock additional equipment and host demonstration and training events at their facility.
“The opening of our newly relocated facility allows us to continue to grow within in the industry and is something our employee-owners can truly take pride in,” said Branch Manager Coy McKay. “I am proud of our company’s continued success that has taken our customer-first focus to a whole new level, something that would not be possible without the dedication of all of our employee-owners which stems from our strong S ESOP structure.”
