We are pleased to announce that Jim Stenger, CFO of Lewis Tree Service has been honored as a “Financial Executive of the Year” by the Rochester Business Journal. The annual award recognizes local financial executives’ contributions to both their organization and the wider community.
Jim is the Vice Chairman of ESCA’s Leadership and Development Council and has been with employee-owned Lewis Tree Service for four years. He received the award in the large organization category and while accepting the honor emphasized the importance of giving back saying, “the community is what enables you to get to where you are. We have an obligation, and I feel an obligation, to continually give back.”
Recognition, like the Rochester Business Journal’s award, illustrates the great talent and commitment to community at employee-owned companies across the country.
