Congratulations HNTB Corporation on your 100th anniversary! ESCA is excited to share that the employee-owned infrastructure firm and member of ESCA’s board of directors recently celebrated their 100th anniversary nationwide on Jan. 14.
Founded in 1914 in Kansas City, Mo., HNTB emerged as one of the exemplary members of the engineering, architecture and consulting – and the employee-ownership – world. Today, it is the No. 1 consultant to state departments of transportation. HNTB Executive Chairman Harvey Hammond spoke at a celebration event last Tuesday saying, “We’re celebrating more than just longevity. We are celebrating our contributions to the infrastructure that moves the people and goods of this country.”
To note the landmark, HNTB’s more than 60 offices are performing at least 100 hours of community service this year, recognizing the company’s ongoing commitment to the greater community. There is a unique desire among S-ESOP firms to not only improve financially, but to bring employees and communities up along with the company’s success. ESCA is proud to share HNTB’s celebratory service.
