Washington, D.C. – Today, Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA) released the final video in its “Faces of Employee Ownership” video campaign. The eight-part campaign featured employee-owners across the nation explaining how employee stock ownership plans, or ESOPs, increase workplace productivity and create robust retirement savings.

The final video in the eight-part series features Sherri McDermott who serves as Vice President of Human Resources at Sentry Equipment. She has been at Sentry since the company became an ESOP in 1986. In the video, McDermott emphasizes how the ESOP at Sentry Equipment boosts its employee-owners’ morale.

“Employee ownership is a huge part of our culture. It helps everyone feel engaged and motivated to come into work every day because they know that the company’s success is their success,” said McDermott. “For the past 30 years, I’ve seen the positive impact of the ESOP on our employee-owners. I truly believe Congress should encourage the creation of more S ESOP companies.”

Sentry Equipment is an equipment manufacturing and monitoring company serving firms in over 50 countries around the globe. Headquartered in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, it has offices in over 23 states and employs more than 180 team members. The company has been employee-owned for 33 years.
