Pflugerville, TX – Last week, Congressman Michael McCaul (R-TX-10) visited ESCA Board member MMC Corp’s headquarters for its subsidiary MW Builders in Pflugerville, Texas. The congressman toured the brand new office space and met with employee-owners who discussed the benefits of employee ownership. Congressman McCaul also met with ESCA members, including MW Builders, during ESCA’s September Lobby Day and learned about pro-S ESOP legislation and the significant retirement savings accrued through ESOPs.

“Thank you to ESCA members for giving me a tour of your new facility in my home of Texas-10,” said Rep. McCaul. “When I voted for the historic tax reform package last year, it was to unleash American innovation with our bold, pro-growth agenda. New facilities, like this one, is only more evidence that our new tax code is working. I look forward to continuing to work with all of our businesses across our district and the country to ensure we create the best opportunities for all hardworking American families.”


MMC Corp, and its subsidiaries, is a national construction services company with almost 600 employee-owners across 48 states. MMC is headquartered in Overland Park, KS and offers mechanical, electrical and general contracting, construction management, energy management and design-build services. MW Builders is a national general contractor with with 25 employee-owners at their Pflugerville headquarters. The company has been a member of ESCA since 2007 and an ESCA Board member since 2010.
