ESCA is thrilled to share that Border States Electric CEO Tammy Miller has been honored with the National Association of Electrical Distributors’ Arthur W. Hooper Achievement Award, the organization’s highest honor. Tammy Miller is the first woman to ever receive this honor.

The Arthur W. Hooper Achievement Award recognizes an individual’s success in the distribution industry. Upon receiving the award, Miller said, “It’s very exciting to be this year’s Arthur W. Hooper award recipient, and I’m honored and humbled to be included with other prominent distributor leaders who have contributed so much to NAED and our industry. I am proud that my actions have made a positive difference in our industry and this association. I share this award with the amazing people I work with—the employee-owners of Border States and my husband of 26 years, Craig Palmer. The success I have achieved is because of all of you.”

Tammy has been CEO and Board Chair at Border States Electric since 2006. The company is one of the largest 100 percent employee-owned companies in America. In 2007, Tammy was the first woman in the 100-year history of the National Association of Electrical Distributors to serve as the Board Chair.

ESCA congratulates Tammy and the whole Border States Electric team!
