Washington, D.C. – Today, Employee-Owned S Corporations of America (ESCA) released the seventh video in its “Faces of Employee Ownership” video campaign. The eight-part campaign features employee-owners across the nation explaining how employee stock ownership plans, or ESOPs, boost workplace morale and help employe-owners save for a secure retirement.

The seventh video in the eight-part series features Bob Petrone who serves as Senior Vice President of Finance at Lewis Tree Service. In the video, Petrone highlights how the ESOP at Lewis Tree Services encourages its workers to think like owners.

“We became 100 percent employee-owned because we recognized that our people are our greatest asset. Our ESOP has helped to motivate our workers because they recognize the company’s success as their success,” said Petrone. “Since becoming an S ESOP, Lewis Tree Service has been able to grow from 700 team members to over 4,500. I truly believe Congress should work to improve access to S ESOPs to help fuel job creation and robust retirement savings for Americans.”

Lewis Tree Service is the second largest provider of vegetation management services in America. Headquartered in Rochester, New York, it has offices in over 23 states and employs more than 4,500 team members. The company became 100 percent employee-owned in 2000.
