Green Cove Springs, Florida – Today,  Congressman Ted Yoho (R-FL) visited Holden Industries’ subsidiary Vac-Con, Inc. in Green Cove Springs, Florida. Congressman Yoho was hosted by Greg Hamilton, Holden’s CFO, and Darrell LeSage, Vac-Con’s President, along with the Vac-Con leadership team pictured below in front of the company’s new Titan® series combination sewer cleaner machine. During the facility tour, Congressman Yoho met several employee-owners who shared their experiences with Vac-Con and the benefits of working for an ESOP company. He also learned about Holden’s ESOP and discussed the unique virtues of employee ownership with several of the 350 employee-owners located at one of the largest producers of sewer cleaning equipment in North America.

Congressman Yoho agreed to support the Promotion and Expansion of Private Employee Ownership Act, stating that “American manufacturing is the driving force for a strong economy” and noting that “for each manufacturing job five more jobs are supported outside of the business.”
